Members of the greater community who are not UNM-Los Alamos students, faculty, or staff are welcome to utilize the library and its services.

  • Please register as a community member at the Help Desk.

Loan periods

You may use library computers when not in use by students, faculty, and staff.

You may check out a mouse at the Help Desk.

The library reserves the right to limit the amount of time a community member may occupy a computer.

You may print up to 25 pages per visit to the library free of charge.

Please use the interlibrary loan services provided by Mesa Public Library.

You may apply for interlibrary loan services at UNM-Los Alamos by contacting the Library Specialist.

  • There is a $10.00 fee for each interlibrary loan transaction.

You may use any of the databases listed below from computers located at the UNM-LA campus.

Off-campus access is not available to community members.

Children under 18 years old may be in the library when accompanied by an adult.
