Why give to the UNM-LA? UNM-LA Class of 2024 at graduation.

For more than 40 years, UNM-LA has provided educational degrees, academic and professional certifications and learning opportunities for all ages in northern New Mexico. UNM-LA intends to remain a solid presence, provide leadership in education and be a welcoming beacon to the region for all wanting to expand their horizons, start or advance their academic journeys, enhance their careers or prepare to participate in the Los Alamos economy and workforce.

Your generous giving to UNM-LA will be focused on three important, impactful giving priorities at UNM-LA:

1. The UNM-LA Faculty Support Fund

Your gifts to this fund will provide opportunities for UNM-LA faculty to participate in professional development in their area of expertise: extended research, conference travel, curriculum, and classroom enhancements, everything that reinforces faculty’s passion for teaching in the unique community of UNM-LA!

Faculty Support Fund

 2. The UNM-LA Endowment Fund

This fund provides flexible, perpetual support of the entire UNM-LA campus. Endowments support the long-term UNM-LA mission and operations — providing a steady source of income in perpetuity. Current value: $500,000.

3. The UNM-LA Student Success and Support Fund
