Software is available for free to UNM students, faculty and staff. Titles include MATLAB and Symantec Endpoint Protection Antivirus.

Microsoft DreamSpark

UNM-LA has partnered with the Microsoft DreamSpark program. Students and instructors of classes that make use of Microsoft software can get virtually any operating system, server, development tool, or application (does not include Microsoft Office) for free. Eligible classes include CS, CT, IT, BSTC and possibly others.

Discounts for Microsoft Office are available to UNM students at the Microsoft Online Store.

Faculty and Staff

IT Software Distribution negotiates discounted prices, by volume, contract or site license, for software products used on UNM-owned shared and desktop computers for UNM departments only.
