Group Study Room Use Policy

Group study rooms are available to all library patrons on a first-come first-served basis.

Students studying together are encouraged to use group study rooms in order to maintain a quiet study atmosphere for other library patrons.

Study rooms may not be used for "hanging out" and socializing. Please use the Student Center for that purpose.

Study rooms may be reserved in advance only if one of the following conditions is met:

• Needed for tutoring session
• Needed for group study session
• Posted notice of scheduled disruption in the library (i.e. special event, maintenance or construction)

In order to meet fire code restrictions, occupancy of study rooms cannot exceed four (4) individuals. Unlawful activities in study rooms will result in law enforcement intervention.

Any other inappropriate conduct or behavior (i.e. cell phone use, eating, smoking, etc.) will result in patrons being asked to leave the library.
