The University of New Mexico-Los Alamos Campus is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Dean.
Summary of duties: The Administrative Assistant to the Dean coordinates, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of administrative support activities for an academic dean. Assignments may be confidential in nature. This person interacts regularly with Department Chairs, faculty, staff, students, and external constituents. The ideal candidate has excellent administrative skills, solid technical skills, and the ability to multitask. The candidate should also demonstrate a strong customer service focus, an ability to work well with a variety of individuals, and a commitment to creating a positive work environment.

Provide 15 credit hours of classroom instruction per academic year in the area of Science. Inform students concerning course requirements and evaluation process and attendance requirements.
