Information Technology with Cyber Security

Students with a strong interest in Information Technology or Computer Science, will want to check out CS101 Introduction to Computing Science—where topics range from binary numbers to the Linux operating system to programming. This course is required for CS and IT students.

The IT degree with an emphasis on Cyber Security is meant as a path to employment (as opposed to a transfer-oriented degree). Students take a variety of courses ranging from security to networking to web development and introductory java programming. This provides a solid foundation to “jump-in” and assist with the IT needs of an employer.
