Information Technology

Students with a strong interest in Information Technology or Computer Science, will want to check out CS101 Introduction to Computing Science – where topics range from binary numbers to the Linux operating system to programming. This course is required for CS and IT students.

The IT degree is meant as a path to employment (as opposed to a transfer-oriented degree). Students take a variety of courses ranging from security to networking to web development and introductory java programming. This provides a solid foundation to “jump-in” and assist with the IT needs of an employer.
