Sabin Americana, 1500-1926 - Consists of works about the Americas published not only in the United States but from across the globe. This collection of important and many hard-to-find primary sources opens a window onto the society, politics, culture, religious beliefs, and contemporary opinions both at home and abroad that covers a period of more than 400 years. It contains information about North, Central and South America, the Arctic and Antarctica and the West Indies. Safari Academic - (enter unm.edu email address) - UNM faculty, staff, and student access. Safari Books Online is an ebook platform aimed at technical (computer science, info science, digital media) and business/management. It has other content as well, including tutorials and videos. Sage Journals Online - SAGE publishes journals in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology and Medicine. Limit your search to the "SAGE Content available to me" for available full text.

Sage Knowledge Historic Documents - United States government documents, including international agreements, Supreme Court decisions, transcripts of presidential speeches, governmental reports, and more. Coverage: 1972-2011.

Sanborn Maps 1867-1970 - Digital access to the towns and cities in New Mexico mapped by the Sanborn Fire Insurance Company. Dates and coverage varies for each place, ranging from the late 1800's to about 1960. Sanborn maps are valuable historical tools for anyone who wants to learn about the history, growth, and development of New Mexico cities, towns and neighborhoods. Science Direct - Elsevier's journal portal provides full-text access to select (only titles with "Full-text available" icon are subscribed to) scientific, technical, and medical journals. Provides access to over 3,800 periodical titles and over 37,000 books. Some articles may be downloaded free of charge; others must be purchased.

Science Online - provides full-text access to Science issues from 1997 to the present.

Science Reference Center - Science Reference Center is a comprehensive research database providing access to a large variety of full-text science content. The database contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, and other sources. Offered through EBSCOhost.

SciTech Connect - Portal to energy-related research developed by the US Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information. Includes citations and some full-text access to technical reports, journal articles, conference papers, books, multimedia, software, and data from the 1940s to the present.

Small Business Collection - See Entrepreneurship

Small Business Reference Center - Provides up to date information on relevant topics from starting a company, operations management and sales to growing or rescuing a business. The database contains nearly 400 full-text periodicals and over 450 full-text reference books. Offered through EbscoHost.

Social Services Abstracts - Social Services Abstracts provides bibliographic coverage of current research focused on social work, human services, and related areas, including social welfare, social policy, and community development. 1980 to present. Updated monthly. Offered through Cambridge Scientific Abstracts.

Sociological Abstracts with Proquest Full text - Abstracts on all aspects of sociology. Provides access to the latest research in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Proquest Full-Text provides access to 140 full-text titles. Abstracts mostly begin in 1952. Updated monthly. Offered through Cambridge Scientific Abstracts/Proquest.

Something About the Author - Comprehensive and unlimited online access to all volumes ever printed in Something About the Author: Main Series and Something About the Author: Autobiography Series. This includes a continually growing list of more than 225 volumes, more than 19,000 entries and nearly 17,000 images.

SORA (Searchable Ornithological Research Archive) - is a freely-accessible full-text on-line archive of ornithological literature. The archive includes several of the most important journals (Auk, Condor, Journal of Field Ornithology, Wilson Bulletin) and monographic series (Pacific Coast Avifauna and Studies In Avian Biology) in the field. The material in this open-access archive was provided by the publishers of the journals, and is hosted by The University of New Mexico Libraries.

SPORTDiscus with Full Text (4 concurrent users only.) - SPORTDiscus with Full Text is recognized as a leading research database covering sport, exercise, fitness, sports medicine, and other sports related disciplines.
