Program Coordinator

The UNMLA campus is seeking to hire a Training and Development Specialist who will deliver training initiatives for UNMLA campus violence prevention program. The person in position will be responsible for:

   · Ensuring compliance with all program and statutory requirements including financial reporting, including managing grant budget, and generating all required monthly and biannual reports for review by PI.

   · Creating and maintaining partnerships with community-based victim services including coordinating monthly meetings of service providers, ensuring 24-hour access for students to local confidential and advocacy services, and creating an on-campus presence of local service providers to raise awareness of local resources.

   · Planning and coordinating sexual violence prevention training activities and events, including mandatory prevention and education program for all incoming students, bystander intervention programs for all students, prevention programs on sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking for the entire campus community, and training for local law enforcement.

   ·  Participating in mandatory technical assistance training through the Office on Violence Against Women and the Department of Justice, including scheduling and organizing travel arrangements for all mandated university and community participants.

   ·  Creating and distributing print material with information about local support and prevention resources for sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

Training and Development Coordinator

The UNMLA campus is seeking to hire a Training and Development Specialist who will deliver training initiatives for UNMLA campus violence prevention program.

The person in this position will be responsible for:

   ·  Obtaining education from local and national sexual violence prevention programs in order to develop evidence-based, effective, and long term training curricula for the UNMLA campus.

   ·  Obtaining approval on all training curricula and program-related materials from Program Manager, the Office on Violence Against women, and all other relevant individuals.

   ·  Delivering all training for the campus violence prevention program, including mandatory prevention and education program for all incoming students, bystander intervention programs for all students, prevention programs on sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking for the entire campus community, and training for local law enforcement.

   ·  Maintaining all record-keeping associated with training, including a database of all training participants that meets the funding agency’s requirements for privacy and confidentiality.

   ·  Participating in mandatory technical assistance training through the Office on Violence Against Women and the Department of Justice.

Library Support (student position)

The work-study student in this position arranges shelves books and magazines using Library of Congress Classification system. This person is in charge of shelf reading duties. Provides basic circulation services including checking books in and out, maintains confidential patron information on the WMS automated library system. Provides basic public services assistance. Provides patron assistance with reference resources including use of specialized online databases. Processes new library materials. Performs preliminary Interlibrary Loan tasks using OCLC online Connexion & WMS system. Uses OCLC online Connexion & WMS system for copy cataloging. Uses Microsoft Word, Excel and Access for basic library-related transactions and functions. Assists with collection maintenance (inventory, shifting, weeding) and special projects as assigned. Assists with intersession cleaning duties. Students possessing other specialized skills such as computer troubleshooting and maintenance may also be assigned tasks related to those skills. 

Proficient in interpersonal communication and customer service.  Versatile, flexible, and able to multi-task.  Reliable, efficient, and committed to job. Able to work with minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computer skills.

Library Info Specialist I

The University of New Mexico–Los Alamos Campus is seeking a qualified Library Information Specialist I (LIS I).  This position is part-time (0.50 FTE) and performs and assists with duties and tasks in all functional aspects of the library including public services, acquisitions, access services, and collection maintenance.  This position also shares in the supervision of student employees, and assists with special projects and other duties as assigned. This position will be primarily responsible for evening and weekend shifts.
