The threat of a Zombie outbreak is imminent. Do you have the critical skills it will take to thwart the impending invasion? Come explore the potential professions that just may give you the edge when faced with the assault on what remains of civilization.

Experience a Unique Way to Consider Careers for the 21st Century.

UNM-Los Alamos and Los Alamos Public Schools are collaborating to offer two, one-week programs that will explore a variety of STEM career options for students entering grades 8-10 in the Los Alamos Public Schools.

Join us for a week of engaging activity-based learning, including:

  • Biofuels / Biological Sciences
  • Digital Media
  • Emergency Medicine & Fire Science
  • Engineering
  • HAZMAT & Radioactive Materials
  • Health Sciences
  • Immunology
  • Public Safety
  • Robotics & 3D Printing
  • Welding

Choose from two sessions

June 2-6: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

June 9-13: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Cost: Free (space is limited, please register early)

This program is funded by a grant received by Los Alamos Public Schools to explore Early College High School Programs. This program is provided to Los Alamos Public School students in grades 8-10 at no cost to the students. Space is limited. Please register for the program by completing and submitting the form below.
